Manchester United have confirmed they are releasing a staggering nine players at the end of the month, according to the Evening Standard

United’s potential incoming transfers are often a topic of discussion amongst reporters and football fans, but rarely their outgoing players.

However, on this occasion it’s the other way around with the North West giants releasing a very high number of nine players at the end of June.

Van Gaal handed Borthwick-Jackson his debut.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is the biggest name on the list of players with Demetri Mitchell, Ethan Hamilton, Dion McGhee, Largie Ramazani, George Tanner, Aidan Barlow, Kieran O’Hara and Alex Fojticek also set to leave.

Defender Borthwick-Jackson was a senior players not that long ago when he made his debut under then manager Louis Van Gaal back in 2015.

But now the talented defender will be looking for another club alongside the other eight players. The Evening Standard have reported that United will support the outgoing players and have decided not to release any player under the age of 19 due to the current difficult times in football.
