Manchester United are weighing up a move for FC Porto’s Alex Telles, according to reports.

Telles, 27, signed for his current club back in the summer of 2016 and has since made 192 appearances.

However, according to A Bola, the Primeira Liga champions could find it difficult to keep hold of the one-time Brazil international for a fifth season with United reportedly keen.

It’s claimed that the Red Devils want to add another left-back to their squad to compete with Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams.

Brandon Williams had a real breakthrough season last term.

And with Porto thought to be lining up Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ruben Vinagre as a replacement, it’s said the sale of the South American is ‘well underway’.

Telles, who’s also thought to be interesting Sevilla, has just one-year left on his deal in Portugal but, despite that, it’s reported that he has a £27million price-tag on his head.

Prior to his move to Estadio do Dragao, the full-back spent the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Inter Milan from former club Galatasaray.

He won four trophies in two-and-a-half years with the Turkish club and has since won an additional four honours with Porto.
