Manchester United will hope to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they face Fulham on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils were beaten 3-1 by Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, before narrowly beating Scottish side Rangers 2-1 in the Europa League on Thursday.

Ruben Amorim’s side currently sit 13th in the Premier League standings, and the Portuguese will be desperate to see his side get the better of the Cottagers on Sunday.

Away from the action, it appears that United are chasing a Premier League youngster.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United are interested in Southampton winger Tyler Dibling.

The report claims that the Red Devils are stepping up their interest in the 18-year-old, who spent a brief spell with Chelsea’s academy in 2022 before returning to boyhood club Southampton.

Dibling has attracted interest from Manchester United

In total the youngster has now played 29 times for the Saints across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering two assists.

It is claimed that United are browsing the market for potential replacements in case Alejandro Garnacho departs the club this month.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea, with the Blues said to be lining up a £60 million move for the player.

United are therefore considering a move for Dibling, who is under contract with the south coast club until the summer of 2027.

The report also suggests that Southampton’s £55 million valuation of the young winger will most likely drop if the club are relegated at the end of the current campaign.

As well as Dibling, the report also suggests that United are keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, with the West London outfit not ruling out the possibility of selling the Frenchman.

Those in charge of United’s recruitment are undecided on whether or not to make a move for Nkunku, with some key figures supporting the idea while others would instead prefer to focus on the current strikers in the squad.
