Manchester United line-up January swoop for Jadon Sancho and one other striker, according to the Daily Star.

With Romelu Lukaku moving on a permanent deal and Alexis Sanchez loaned out to Inter Milan, the Red Devils lack squad depth in the attacking positions.

Both were moves United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was happy to sanction, knowing it only left Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and 17-year-old Mason Greenwood at his disposal.

With just three strikers available, extra pressure is on Marcus Rashford this season.

Some United fans criticised the club’s decision to let Sanchez move on loan, despite the poor form he has shown in Manchester, but it seems Ole is lining up two January signings.

The first of which is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who Ole and the red side of Manchester have been long-term admirers of.

However, the Daily Star have reported that the United could also be in line to sign one other striker in January to help bolster their attacking options.
