Manchester United are reportedly lining up a summer move for unsettled Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to ITA Sport Press via the Metro

The Germany international has made 87 appearances for the Spanish giants since making the move from Bayern Munich in 2014, scoring three goals, but is now said to be unsettled, and looking for a move to the Premier League.

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague says the 2014 World Cup winners wants to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season, which has alerted United.

The Red Devils look set to spend big again in the summer after a disappointing campaign that will end trophy-less after they were knocked out of the Europa League by arch-rivals Liverpool on Thursday night.

Any move for Kroos could depend on United qualifying for the Champions League though – they are currently sixth in the Premier League standings, four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who they face in a huge Manchester derby at the Etihad on Sunday.
