Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea face stiff competition if they wish to sign Ivory Coast international star Franck Kessie, according to Calciomercato.

The Premier League trio, who currently sit sixth, fifth and first in the English top-flight standings respectively, have all been linked with luring the Atalanta midfielder to the ‘Promised Land’ this summer.

The 20-year-old, who has 10 international caps for his country, has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Kessie, who spent last term on loan at Cesena, has recently returned from international duty after featuring for the Ivory Coast at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

However, following his impressive displays for club and country this campaign, the list of potential suitors for the defensive midfielder’s signature has risen.

As well as United, Liverpool and Chelsea; Kessie is being tracked by the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli and AS Roma – forming a seven-way transfer battle.
