Manchester United loan out highly-rated 21-year-old midfielder to Hull City

Hull City have announced the loan capture of Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell until the end of the season.

The Championship leaders; who currently sit one point above runners-up Middlesbrough, have given him the number 22 shirt after arriving at the KC Stadium on deadline day.

The 21-year-old, who is a former England Under-21 international, has played just 37 minutes of first-team football for the Red Devils this season.

Powell arrived at Old Trafford from League One Crewe Alexandra back in July 2012 in a deal worth up to £6m.
