Chile international star Alexis Sánchez is reportedly on his way out of Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

The Premier League side, who disappointingly lost 3-1 at the London Stadium to the hands of West Ham United on Saturday afternoon, have been linked with offloading the misfiring forward ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 29-year-old, who has 121 international caps for his country, has assisted one goal in five league appearances for The Red Devils so far this season.

Sánchez, who arrived at Old Trafford back in January following his move from league rivals Arsenal, has scored just three goals in 23 games overall under manager Jose Mourinho.

However, the report suggests the ‘Special One’ has lost patience with the misfiring Chilean, and the United boss will look to offload him out of The Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez.

The ex-Gunner was axed from Saturday’s matchday squad to face West Ham this weekend, despite travelling to London with team mates.

Reportedly earning a whopping £500,000-a-week at Old Trafford, Sánchez’s transfer from the Emirates Stadium in the New Year has seemingly proved a mistake, with United planning to move the left winger on.

But, he is still contracted at the club until June 2022, and is valued at £63m.
