Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to offload a number of key players ahead of a summer shake-up at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.

The ‘Special One’, 55, is understood to be willing to sell the likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian at the end of the season.

Midfielder Pogba, 25, who is the club’s record transfer buy after costing the Red Devils £89m back in August 2016, has scored just five goals in 30 appearances in all competitions for United this term.

Meanwhile forward Martial, 22, has netted 11 goals in 41 games, and defender Blind, 28, has been restricted to just 15 appearances in all competitions under boss Mourinho this campaign, having fallen down the pecking order at The Theatre of Dreams.

Full-back Darmian, also 28, has started just two Premier League fixtures this campaign, and featured in just 13 games in all competitions.

The report claims Mourinho has run out of patience with France international Pogba this season, and the player was reportedly offered to arch rivals Manchester City during the previous January transfer window.

The manager’s relationship with the central midfielder has derailed this term, and he could be set for the exit door, alongside French team mate Martial, Dutchman Blind and Italian Darmian.

United are expected to execute a summer shake-up at Old Trafford as Mourinho looks to close the gap on champions Manchester City in 2018-19.
