Manchester United Marcos Rojo reveals why Everton transfer collapsed and potential January move, when speaking to Argentinian news outelt Ole.

Argentina international Rojo has struggled for game time at Old Trafford and all roads pointed to a move away from the club this summer.

However, a potential move to Everton fell through and his team mate Chris Smalling ended up heading out on loan to AS Roma on European transfer deadline day.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær is yet to play Rojo this season.

The 29-year-old has only managed to get into one squad under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season and is yet to receive any minutes on the pitch.

Speaking to Ole, Rojo said: “I had the possibility of going to Everton, but due to the decisions of the club or the manager it wasn’t possible.

“Now I have to fight until December and, if it doesn’t work out, I will try to leave. ‘The qualifiers and the Copa America are coming and I want to be part of that. I don’t want to be out again, I want to exhaust all the possibilities and compete to be here.”

Rojo has vowed to fight for his position in the upcoming months, but it would seem that if he doesn’t manage to breakthrough a January move could be on the cards.
