Manchester United have reportedly submitted a £10m offer for England Under-19 international Reece Oxford, according to The Sun.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who finished fifth in the English top-flight, despite eventually winning the 2016 FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium against Crystal Palace earlier this month, have been linked with a summer swoop for the highly-rated West Ham United defender.

The 17-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current deal with the Londoners, made 12 first-team appearances for the Hammers in all competitions this season under boss Slaven Bilic.

Oxford, who has already turned down a £12,000-a-week offer from West Ham, is also said to be attracting interest from fellow Premier League outfit Liverpool.

But the report suggests that new United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to lure the centre-half to Old Trafford, in a deal which could profit West Ham by £15m given any performance-related clauses in a potential deal.
