Manchester United travel to London on Sunday to face league leaders Arsenal in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Erik ten Hag’s side have been in scintillating form since the World Cup, winning seven games in a row across all competitions prior to a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Marcus Rashford has spearheaded The Red Devils’ good form, with the England international scoring eight times in eight games since returning from Qatar last month.

Frenchman Anthony Martial has primarily been used as a striker since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in November, but United have completed the signing of Wout Weghorst from Burnley to bolster their attacking options.

Now, though, it appears that The Red Devils have been offered the chance to sign a Serie A striker.

According to 90min, United have been offered Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and has been prolific in the Italian top flight in recent seasons.

The 22-year-old netted 49 goals in 108 games for former side Fiorentina, a run of form that earned him a move to Turin in January last year, for a fee of around £72 million.

Vlahovic could be on his way out of Juventus just 12 months after joining the club

Since joining Juventus, the forward has continued to score at an impressive rate, netting 16 times in 36 games for the club.

The Italian giants have already been eliminated from the Champions League this season, though, and they look extremely unlikely to qualify for next season’s competition following the 15 point deduction handed to them after an investigation into historical transfer dealings.

The opportunity to play in Europe’s top club competition was believed to have been one of the main reasons why Vlahovic opted to join Juventus, so the player may now be keen to move on.

United are believed to be one of a number of top clubs from across Europe that have been offered the chance to sign Vlahovic.

Chelsea and Arsenal are also said to have been made aware of the player’s situation, along with French champions Paris Saint-Germain and German side Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils are set to look for a new striker in the summer, with the arrival of Weghorst only regarded as a temporary fix.
