Manchester United plan January swoop for talented Valencia left back Jose Gaya and possibly two further signings, according to Spanish news outlet Deporte Valenciano

The Red Devils have made a terrible start to the campaign by their standards, currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League after 11 games.

This has called for the sacking of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from some United fans, however according to Chief Executive Ed Woodward, Solskjaer will be backed with transfer funds to turn their season around.

Winger Carlos Soler could also be on his way to Manchester in January.

It is set to be a fascinating January from a United transfer perspective, with reports from Spain stating the Old Trafford outfit could make a bid for Valencia left back Jose Gaya.

Luke Shaw currently holds down that position, but has not met the consistent levels of former player Patrice Evra since his arrival to the club in 2014.

As well as Gaya, Deporte also report the possible January signings of right winger Carlos Soler and Ferran Tores, with Solsjkaer and his team desperate to add quality to the squad.
