Manchester United plan to start summer business with swap deal involving Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, according to Manchester Evening News

It’s been a fairly frustrating transfer window thus far for Manchester United and their fans. There has been no major signings announced as we approach the end of August.

Further South, Premier League rivals Chelsea are doing the exact opposite, signing numerous top talent from around Europe to vastly improve their squad.

One player that has been rumoured to be joining United, is talented midfielder Grealish, who enjoyed an incredible season in which he was instrumental in keeping his hometown club in the Premier League.

Romero could find himself as third choice goalkeeper this season.

Local news outlet MEN have suggested a potential way United could attempt bringing the 24-year-old to Old Trafford by orchestrating a swap deal.

The Red Devils have an inflated squad already and are keen to release some players and Villa are in need of both a keeper and defender.

Players such as Serg Romero and Diogo Dalot could find themselves way down the pecking order now and could be used as a way to sign Grealish in this window.
