Manchester United are reportedly readying a £15m offer for Scotland international defender Kieran Tierney, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who finished sixth in the English top-flight standings last term, but qualify for the UEFA Champions League after defeating Ajax in the 2017 UEFA Europa League final back in May, have been scouting the highly-rated Celtic left-back ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who has four international caps for his country, scored two goals and provided 12 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for the record breaking Scottish Premiership champions last season.

Tierney, who still has four years remaining on his current Celtic contract, is a youth academy graduate of the Parkhead outfit and has already played 75 first-team games for the club.

However, the report suggests Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho has been monitoring the full-back closely and wants to launch a £15m bid for his services this month.
