Manchester United are ready to make a move for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to reports.

The 19-year-old played a key part in helping his current side clinch promotion to Serie A last term.

Tonali has since impressed in Serie A this term and won his first senior cap for Italy earlier this month.

However, The Sun report that Brescia could face a struggle to keep their young star with Manchester United keen on the player.

Solskjaer has his eye on Tonali.

It’s claimed the Red Devils have been watching Tonali for 18 months and are now preparing a move.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bolster his squad, especially in midfield where Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira currently seem to be the Norwegian’s first picks.

Although it’s thought that his market value is around £40million, Brescia president Massimo Cellino is doing all he can to keep his biggest asset by offering him a big new deal and putting a £260million price tag on his head.

Dubbed the ‘next Andrea Pirlo’, the teenager has also been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan.
