Manchester United react to the loan enquiries from summer signings Donny van de Beek, according to the Metro.

It’s clear for all football fans to see, that van de Beek has not managed to hit the ground running at Old Trafford following his summer arrival.

At £40million, there’s no doubting that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have wanted to see a bigger impact from the Ajax academy graduate.

However, the alternative view, would be the fact that Solskjaer has not been given the time to bed in to this United team and get used to the fast-pace and aggressive nature of the Premier League.

Solskjaer has taken United to the top of the Premier League.

With the delayed European Championships just months away, van de Beek could not be blamed for seeking more regular football with game time few and far between at United this season.

The Metro have reported that the midfielder is unlikely to go anywhere this season, with Solskjaer desperate to bring silverware to the North West giants and sees de Beek making a valuable contribution in the latter part of the season.

Solskjaer clearly believes he will need the majority of his squad as this condensed season reaches its climax with further loans for Jesse Lingard, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe likely to be rebuffed.
