Manchester United finished the season strongly with a 2-1 win over Fulham 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The result ensured that the red Devils finished third in the Premier League, which secured them Champions League football for next season.

Erik Ten Hag’s side have already had a successful campaign after winning the Carabao Cup and securing a top-three spot in the league, but they will be keen to make it even better by beating rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Despite an impressive season from the Manchester side, United are looking to rebuild their squad in a bid to rival Manchester City for a Premier League title in years to come.

As well as bringing in new faces to the team, Ten Hag is planning to offload some of fringe players this summer.

According to The Manchester Evening News, United have halved their asking price for Anthony Elanga in a bid to move the player on this summer.

Ten Hag will look to overhaul his squad in the summer

The report claims that the Red Devils have reduced the asking price for the forward to just £10m.

Elanga, 21, joined United’s youth set-up in 2015 before working his way through the ranks to reach the first team.

The winger has only ever played a bit-part role for the club, though, with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Swedish international struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford this season, only managing two assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

The winger signed a contract with the Manchester side in 2021, which is set to run until the summer of 2026.

However, United are already looking to offload the player and have decreased his price tag in a bid to attract offers from clubs this summer.

Elanga reportedly attracted interest from Crystal Palace in January, and the new asking price could encourage the Eagles to launch a move for the youngster in the next few months.
