Manchester United are ready to accept half of what they paid for Netherlands international forward Memphis Depay next month, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who defeated West Brom 2-0 at The Hawthorns on Saturday to sit sixth in the English top-flight standings heading into Christmas Day, have been linked with offloading the out-of-favour winger during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who has 27 international caps for his country, has failed to score or provide an assist in eight first-team appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils so far this season.
Depay, who arrived at Old Trafford back in the summer of 2015 following his reported £25m switch from Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven, is widely tipped to join Ronald Koeman’s Everton in the New Year market.
The report suggests that United are ready to settle for half the transfer fee (£12.5m) they splashed out last year on the winger.
