Manchester United run risk of losing Angel Gomes to rivals Chelsea if they sign Birmingham City star Jude Bellingham, according to The Sun

Gomes is a fantastic talent, but has only made a handful of appearances in the senior squad at Old Trafford.

The pacy attacking midfielder with an eye for a goal is out of contract on the 1st of July, with the England U20 option weighing up his options.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be desperate to keep the talented player and will be hopeful he can hand him more game time next season, but the decision may be out of his hands.

Jude Bellingham has been a revelation at Birmingham this season.

The Sun are reporting that Gomes will consider making a move away from Old Trafford, if the North West giants bring in the uber-talented Bellingham from Birmingham City.

Bellingham is three years younger than Gomes, still only 16 years of age and has been an integral part of his club’s campaign in the Championship.

United now play the balancing act of wanting to improve their squad but not losing their talented youngsters to rivals such as Chelsea one of the parties interested in Gomes.
