Manchester United will be looking to maintain their winning ways when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

The Red Devils advanced to the FA Cup final on Saturday after a penalty shoot-out victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at Wembley.

Eric Ten Hag’s side will meet Manchester City in the first-ever all-Manchester FA Cup final in June.

Manchester United have enjoyed a fantastic season so far under Ten Hag, having already lifted the Carabao Cup in February.

Right-back Aaron Wan Bissaka was one of the many Manchester United players that impressed against the Seagulls on Sunday.

However, it now appears Manchester outfit are looking to add another right-back to their squad, in order to provide competition for the Englishman.

According to The Sun, The Red Devils are preparing a bid to sign AS Monaco’s full-back, Vanderson.

The Brazilian defender joined the Monegasque club in January last season following a £10m switch from Grêmio in Brazil.

Vanderson joined AS Monaco in January 2021

The 21-year-old has caught the eyes of the European giants after displaying flashes of excellence during the 34 appearances that he has made for the club this season.

Vanderson has helped AS Monaco to pick up 61 points from 32 games so far this season, with the club currently sat fourth in the French top flight.

The Brazilian has a contract that ties him to the club until 2027, although Philippe Clement’s side may consider selling the right-back a lot earlier.

Monaco remain five points behind RC Lens, who currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spot in Ligue 1.

The 2016/17 league champions also failed to make the current Champions League campaign after they were knocked out during the qualifying rounds in the summer, beating defeated by Dutch side PSV.

Vanderson’s current contract would put the French side in a commanding position during any potential negotiations, though.
