Manchester United are reportedly preparing an initial £25m offer for England youth international starlet Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Guardian.

The Premier League side, who took on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this evening in the top-flight, have been strongly linked with a move for Fulham’s highly rated full-back.

The 17-year-old, who has featured 14 times for England’s Under-19 side, has scored four goals and provided two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions for the EFL Championship outfit so far this season.

Sessegnon, who has played for the Cottagers since 2008, has netted 11 times in 54 games overall for Fulham, having made his first-team debut aged 16 years and 81 days against Leyton Orient back in August 2016.

The report suggests United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to let England international left-back Luke Shaw leave Old Trafford in the New Year, and wants the Young Lions defender as his long-term replacement, with The Red Devils set to bid £25m for the teenager next month.

Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and La Liga giants Real Madrid has also been linked with Sessegnon.
