Manchester United are reportedly set to complete the world-record £105 million signing of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, once the France international returns from holiday, according to the Sun.

It is understood that talks between the Red Devils and Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, could be completed as soon as the end of the weekend, with the Frenchman set to pen a five-year deal worth £202,000 a week at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old is currently on holiday in America after being a losing finalist at Euro 2016 with his nation, and if the move goes through, it will eclipse the £86 million that Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.

Pogba, who moved to Juventus from United for free in 2012 after turning down a new contract, has made 178 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, scoring 34 goals, and would become Jose Mourinho’s fourth addition of the summer, following in the footsteps of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly.
