Manchester United are reportedly set to sign Brentford winger Joshua Bohui on a three-year deal, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 17-year-old signed a two-year scholarship with the Championship outfit last summer after scoring two goals in 12 appearances when he was just 15, and ended the campaign as the academy’s top goalscorer, which attracted the interest of the Red Devils and their head of academy, former midfielder Nicky Butt.

Bohui graduated from the Afewee Academy, which is run by volunteers in Brixton and where current Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne also came through the ranks, and is one of its five graduates to have made it in the professional game.

The England Under-17 international is the fifth arrival for the academy side at Old Trafford during the close season, following in the footsteps of Irish right-back Lee O’Connor, American teenager Matthew Olosunde, Switzerland international Nishan Burkart and Dutch winger Tahith Chong.
