Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly “lost patience” with France international forward Anthony Martial, according to the Express.

The Premier League side, who take on in-form Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening (17:30) in the English top-flight, have been linked with offloading the out of form winger.

The 22-year-old, who has 18 international caps for his country, but was not included in France’s 2018 FIFA World Cup winning squad this summer, has made just one league appearance for The Red Devils so far this season.

Martial, who arrived at Old Trafford back in September 2015 following his switch from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco, in a deal worth up to £58m, has scored 36 goals in 137 outings in all competitions for United overall.

However, the report suggests Red Devils boss Mourinho is unconvinced Martial will come good at The Theatre of Dreams, following the January arrival of fellow forward Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and the rise of England international Marcus Rashford.

Having “lost patience” with the former Monaco wonderkid, Martial is poised to join another Premier League club next year, with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur linked with his services.

Martial is contracted at United until June 2019, and is valued at £58.5m.
