Manchester United star striker Anthony Martial wanted by Serie A Club Inter Milan in shock swap deal as Ed Woodward sets price, according to Calciomercato.

This news will come as a big shock to United fans, with the France international finally staking his claim as the first choice central striker since the return of football after lockdown.

It’s the best form Martial has shown in a Red Devils shirt, netting five goals since June and causing defenders all sorts of problems.

United Chief Executive Ed Woodward will be under pressure from United fans this summer.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in fine form despite the last-minute goal they conceded to Southampton last night, United fans are excited about their potential next term.

But it seems, they will have competition trying to keep Martial with Serie A outfit Inter Milan interested in the 24-year-old in a possible swap deal with defender Milan Skrniar.

According to the Italian-based news outlet, United chief executive Ed Woodward has named a price of £63million for the frontman including the player swap.
