Manchester United winger Tahith Chong is stalling on signing a new contract with Juventus interested in his signature, according to reports.

The 19-year-old is highly-thought of at Old Trafford and has made four appearances in all competitions so far this term.

United have offered a new deal to the teenager, who is out of contract in the summer, but Italian outlet Calciomercato claim that Chong has had his head turned by the Serie A champions.

Juve went down a similar path in 2012 when they signed Paul Pogba after he let his contract with the Premier League side run down.

Pogba played 178 matches in four years at Juventus before returning to Old Trafford.

Four years later the Red Devils forked out a then world-record £89.3million to bring the Frenchman back to Old Trafford.

With that in mind, and following these latest reports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not want to lose the Dutchman for nothing at the end of the campaign.

But it remains to be seen whether that means the Norwegian boss will try to give the winger more game time in the near future.

Chong moved to Manchester from Feyenoord’s academy in 2016 and has made eight senior appearances overall, winning the club’s 2017/18 Young Player of the Year award.
