Interim Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick is enduring a hard time at present, with his side having won just two of their last ten matches across all competitions.

The Red Devils’ only two victories since February have been 3-2 wins against both Tottenham and Norwich City, both of which came courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo hat-tricks.

The scale of the task at hand for Rangnick’s successor, Erik Ten Hag, was reiterated by United’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday.

United have conceded 13 goals across their last four away league games, and fixing their leaky backline will undoubtedly be high on Ten Hag’s list of priorities when he arrives in England.

In the meantime, speculation surrounding the future of Paul Pogba continues to rumble on.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford ever since returning to the club in 2016 for a fee of £94.5 million.

Pogba has been booed by United fans at certain points this season

The 29-year-old was linked with a return to former club Juventus, however Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have now emerged as the most likely destinations for the France international.

Pogba has reportedly received offers from both clubs to join them this summer when his current United contract expires.

It seems increasingly unlikely that the midfielder will extend his stay in Manchester, and he has reportedly left the squad’s WhatsApp group chat.

As per The Mirror, Pogba left the chat, which included the entirety of the squad, telling his teammates that he is on his way out of Manchester this summer.

Pogba has recently spoken of his discontent at United, declaring himself ‘not at all’ satisfied with his trophy haul.

United have only won a Europa League and Carabao Cup since Sir Alex Ferguson departed the club in 2013.

The Frenchman has played more than 230 times for United, scoring on 39 occasions and providing 51 assists.
