Manchester United are flying at the moment after their late 1-0 win over Wolves lifted them to second in the Premier League.

It wasn’t long ago that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seemed to be under big pressure but now his side are unbeaten in nine top-flight games, winning seven of those.

Marcus Rashford’s last-gasp strike on Tuesday sees them sit just two points behind leaders and champions Liverpool.

Whether the Red Devils are capable of challenging for their first title since 2013 remains to be seen but they’re reportedly looking to dip into the January transfer market to give them the best possible chance.

According to the Daily Express, United have their eye on a new year swoop for Norwich City star Max Aarons.

Solskjaer wants to give Aaron Wan-Bissaka some extra competition at right-back and it’s claimed that Aarons has become a top target.

Aarons has impressed since breaking through at Norwich in 2018/19.

It’s reported that the North London sides didn’t want to pay the asking-price for the England Under-21 international leaving United, who are understood to have watched Aarons on numerous occasions, poised to swoop.
Norwich will not want to lose such a key man especially as they are going well in their mission to bounce straight back to the top-flight.
But if a big offer comes in, then it might be too good for the Championship frontrunners and their flying full-back to ignore.
