Manchester United tipped to sign midfielder and Arsenal target Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid, according to ex player Louis Saha via Compare Bet. 

Partey has been linked with North London outfit Arsenal for a number of months now, so Gunners fans will not be happy to see this news.

The defensive midfielder was compared to Liverpool star Fabinho with his major strengths his breaking up of play and possession game.

Louis Saha made a big impact when he arrived at United.

United midfield trio Scott McTominay, Fred and Nemanja Matic all impressed during their 12-game unbeaten run before lockdown, buy many believe they do not posses the quality to take United back to the very top.

Saha said: “[Partey’s] a top player. He’s a defensive presence and a tremendous prospect.

“Whether he can make an impact right away remains to be seen, as we have McTominay, Fred and Matic.

“However, we have seen the impact that someone like Fabinho has had on Liverpool.

“He has mastered that position. Fabinho has improved the players around him.

“This guy is a rock, he defends in such a way that allows the Liverpool frontline to play their game knowing he’s protecting the defence.

“Perhaps a Fabinho-like player is already at United, but if not, then we need to find someone, whether that’s Thomas Partey or anyone else.”
