Manchester United are set to join the race to the signing of Crystal Palace starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports from The Sun.

The £40million-rated English right-back is one of the most sought after players ahead of the summer transfer window, with clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Bayern Munich all scouting him.

The Eagles man has impressed this season for the London club, making 27 league appearances and cementing his name on the team sheet week in week out.

With veteran right-back Antonio Valencia turning 34 this August, the Red Devils are looking for a new option for next season.

Wan-Bissaka has hardly put a foot wrong since breaking into Palace’s first-team.

Former boss Jose Mourinho signed Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot last summer but he has struggled to settle into the first-team on a regular basis, forcing them to look at other options.

United are known throughout their history of having good young English players within their squad, so signing the England Under-21 International would fit the mould of the club.

With current interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to get the permanent job in the summer, it looks as though he is already looking ahead to his first potential signings.
