Manchester United to confirm bargain £55,000 deal for Italy wonderkid

Manchester United are set to complete the £55,000 signing of Italy starlet Luca Ercolani, according to The Express.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who were pinned back to a last-gasp 3-3 draw at Newcastle United on Tuesday night, are poised to shortly confirm the capture of the Forli defender this month.

The 16-year-old; who has had trials with the Red Devils’ youth teams in recent months, currently plays for the Italian outfit in Serie D, the fourth-tier of football in his homeland.

With the deal set to be concluded at around £55,000 with the non-professional club, the youngster has already posed in United’s training kit on his Instagram account.
