Manchester United to keep a watchful eye on Luka Jovic as Real Madrid look to sell their striker, according to the Daily Star

With just Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood as the only recognised senior strikers at the club (although Greenwood is just 18-years-old), it’s clear United are keen to recruit further striking power.

Luka Jovic, could be that man, as the former Eintracht Frankfurt is struggling to find any game time at Real Madrid following his move in the summer.

Youngster Mason Greenwood is getting plenty of game time this season.

The Serbian striker has scored once since his move and has started just four games under boss Zinedine Zidane, making 12 appearances in total.

This has promoted rumours that the Spanish side are willing to sell, with the Star reporting that United will be ‘kept updated’ on Jovic’s progress, sparking thoughts of a possible summer switch.
