Manchester United will pay Alexis Sanchez a staggering ‘loyalty bonus’ when he returns on loan from Inter Milan, according to the Sun.

Sanchez is currently on a season-long loan at Serie A side Inter Milan, having made the switch last summer, alongside Romelu Lukaku who joined on a permanent deal.

Managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, the San Siro side have opted against signing Sanchez and he looks set to return to Old Trafford in time for next season.

Conte has got Inter looking like serious Serie A contenders.

However, the Sun have claimed that on his return the Chile international will receive a staggering £1.1million loyalty bonus from Manchester United,

This will come as a shock to most Untied fans and football fans in general, given Sanchez already receives a hefty £500,000-a-week wage.

At the turn of the year, United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer indicated that the forward would be part of his squad next season.

He said: “Alexis will come back in the summer and will prove you all wrong.”
