Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks as if he will be without seven first-team players for his side’s trip to Newcastle United, according to reports.

The Norwegian boss is under pressure following a start to the season which has produced just two wins from an opening seven Premier League matches.

Sunday’s match against a struggling Magpies will be viewed as one where United can win their first domestic away match since February.

However, things haven’t been made any easier for the Old Trafford outfit with the Manchester Evening News reporting that Solskjaer will be without a number of players.

Solskjaer is under pressure going into Sunday’s game at Newcastle.

It’s claimed that Eric Bailly, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba will take no part at St James’ Park.

Due to the long list of absentees, talented youngsters Brandon Williams, Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood and James Garner could have an opportunity.

The Red Devils have lost just one of their last six matches at Newcastle, winning 2-0 on their last visit back in January.
