Manchester United are reportedly not willing to allow Netherlands international forward Memphis Depay to join a Premier League rival, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who currently sit sixth in the English top-flight standings after their opening 11 league games and face Arsenal at Old Trafford this weekend, were tipped to offload the winger to Everton ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who has 27 international caps and scored twice for the Netherlands in their 3-1 victory over Luxembourg on Sunday, has failed to find the back of the net in seven appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils so far this season.
Depay, who arrived at Old Trafford back in June 2015 following his reported £25m switch from Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven, is understood to be open to discussing a January move to Premier League rivals Everton.
However, the report suggests Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is not comfortable allowing the Dutchman to join another English top-flight outfit, but would prefer him to seal a move abroad, especially considering The Toffees are currently level on points (18) with United in the league table.
