Juventus are reportedly considering a surprise summer move for Netherlands international forward Memphis Depay, according to Tuttosport (via Goal).

The Serie A champions, who finished nine points clear of runners-up Napoli in the Italian top-flight last term, have been linked with the Manchester United winger ahead of the forthcoming 2016/17 campaign.

The 22-year-old, who has 24 international caps for his country, scored seven goals and provided six assists in 45 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils last season.

Depay, who cost United £25m last June following his switch from Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven, still has three years remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford.

However; after failing to impress former manager Louis van Gaal last term, Italian giants Juve are understood to be keen on the Dutch winger if new boss Jose Mourinho chose to offload the forward this summer.

Depay netted an impressive 50 goals in 124 games for PSV prior to his transfer to United.
