Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is reportedly a summer transfer target for Spanish and Italian giants Atletico Madrid and Juventus respectively, according to the Daily Mail.

The former Spain Under-23 international, who has yet to receive his first international senior call-up, has reportedly become increasingly frustrated at his lack of first-team chances under Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal this term.

The 26-year-old, who began his career at Real Zaragoza, has scored five goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for United so far this season.

Herrera, who arrived at Old Trafford from La Liga club Athletic Bilbao back in June 2014 for around £29m, will enter the final two years of his contract at the English top-flight side this summer.

But having only started 15 Premier League games under boss Van Gaal this campaign, Atletico Madrid and Juventus have picked upon Herrera’s frustration and are likely to offer him a way out of Old Trafford.
