Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez has asked his agent to push through a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Times.

The Chile star only joined the club from Arsenal in January in a four-and-a-half-year deal worth £14m a year after tax.

However, the move has not worked out for the club or player who has started just five of 11 Premier League matches this season, scoring once.

It’s reported that the 29-year-old has become increasingly unhappy at Old Trafford and has isolated himself from other members of the squad.

Sanchez’s only goal this season was the winner in the 3-2 comeback win against Newcastle United.

The situation is said to have got to the point where the ex-Barcelona star has asked his agent, Fernando Felicevich, who has already started talks with PSG, to secure him a move to France in January.

Despite those initial talks, it’s not yet known whether the Parisians would still be keen to secure the attacker now they have Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe leading the forward line.

During his four-and-a-half years in England, Sanchez has netted a combined 84 times in 194 appearances for the Gunners and Red Devils.
