Manchester United are reportedly set to complete their fourth summer signing with the capture of Portuguese forward Bruno Amorim, according to Noticias ao Minuto.

The Premier League side, who finished sixth in the English top-flight standings last term, but lifted the EFL Cup and the UEFA Europa League to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, have been heavily linked with luring the Oliveirense winger to Old Trafford this summer.

The 19-year-old, who made his first-team debut against Farense back in January 2016, made seven senior appearances for the Portuguese second-tier outfit last season.

Red Devil officials were impressed by the forward’s displays last term during scouting sessions, and the youngster is set to become Jose Mourinho’s next addition, following the arrivals of defender Victor Lindelof (Benfica), midfielder Nemanja Matic (Chelsea) and striker Romelu Lukaku (Everton) this summer transfer window.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Oliveirense’s Communication Director, Antonio Jose Leite, told the report Amorim’s switch to The Theatre of Dreams is “90 per cent done”.

He said, “He had been promoted to the main squad but [United’s] scout was alert and decided to take him there.

“At this time the business is 90 per cent done and he may have an excellent contract ahead.

“The contract will shortly be announced, but he is a future bet at United.”
