Rojo takes a throw-in at Selhurst Park.

Aside from a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal at the start of the month – the only Premier League game Rojo didn’t appear in during October – United kept three clean sheets from a win against Everton and goalless draws against arch-rivals, Manchester City, and Crystal Palace.

The Argentina international was particularly impressive for Louis van Gaal’s side, helping the Red Devils keep the goals out at one end, while providing an assist for Ander Herrera at the other in the 3-0 success at Goodison Park.

After being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the summer, Rojo now appears to have nailed down the left-back spot as his own following the terribly injury to Luke Shaw.
