Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos, according to the Indian Express.

The Premier League giants, who currently sit sixth in the English top-flight standings and face Liverpool at Anfield in Monday Night Football’s latest instalment, only brought in the former Sweden striker to Old Trafford earlier this summer on a free transfer following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 35-year-old, who scored a remarkable 62 international goals in 116 caps for his country before retiring after this year’s European Championships, has already netted six goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils so far this season.

But it seems Ibrahimovic, who has also played for the likes of Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and FC Barcelona, is an audacious future transfer target for former Italy international defender, Gianluca Zambrotta, at the ISL outfit.

The Delhi Dynamos manager told the Indian Express, “Given his fan following in India, I think Zlatan would want to come and end his career here.

“On my end, I will definitely try and convince him to play for Delhi Dynamos.”
