Antonio Valencia has reportedly signed a new deal at Manchester United, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who defeated West Brom 2-0 at The Hawthorns last Saturday to record three successive top-flight fixtures heading into the Christmas period, have rewarded the full-back with a new contract to keep him at Old Trafford until June 2018.

The 31-year-old, who has 87 international caps for Ecuador, has provided three assists in 18 appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils so far this season.

Valencia; who arrived at The Theatre of Dreams back in June 2009 following his reported £16m switch from Wigan Athletic, has been in sensational form for United this term, with manager Jose Mourinho impressed with his performances at right-back, despite predominantly being a winger.

The Ecuadorian’s encouraging displays has restricted fellow right-back Matteo Darmian to the substitutes bench this campaign, with Valencia being awarded their Player of the Month award for November.
