Belgium international Marouane Fellaini is reportedly considering leaving Manchester United for a move to Serie A, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League side, who defeated West Brom 2-0 at The Hawthorns on Saturday to sit sixth in the English top-flight standings heading into Christmas, have been linked with offloading the out-of-favour midfielder during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 29-year-old, who has 74 international caps for his country, has made 17 appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils so far this season, but has failed to find the back of the net or register an assist.
Fellaini, who was brought to Old Trafford back in September 2013 by former boss David Moyes for a reported £27.5m following his similar move from Everton, is thought to be interesting rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan ahead of the New Year market.
The report suggests that United are keen to sell the Belgian, rather than loan him out, despite the central midfielder still having 18 months remaining on his current contract.
