Liam Walsh is the ever-reliable metronome in the Under-23’s midfield.

The central midfielder scooped up the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for February and manager David Unsworth has complimented the way he “runs games” from the centre of the park.

Walsh has named Xavi as his idol and the style of play between the two certainly is similar.

The 19-year-old has four goals and three assists this season, but is far more important than just his goals and assists.
