Garry Monk will continue to monitor two potential deals right up until the transfer window closes.

According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post the Leeds United boss is keeping tabs on Norwich City winger Sergi Canos and West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher in the hope of bringing in new faces to help the promotion push.

As well as battling on the pitch to secure precious points Monk has been keeping his eye to the ground in the hope of bringing in the player that can book a play-off place and help take the club back to the Premier League.

Norwich signed Canor from Liverpool at the start of the season but despite being frozen out of the Canaries starting XI Alex Neil has refused to consider sending him out on loan.

Monk would love to bring West Ham striker Fletcher to Yorkshire but with West Ham making heavy weather of recruitment hopes are fading that the 21-year-old will be heading north.
