Monk should give these 3 Leeds United players a chance vs Liverpool

Leeds forward Chris Wood has been in sensational form so far this season, but Marcus Antonsson’s hat-trick for the Under-23’s last week could serve a reminder to Monk about the Swede’s ability.

The 25-year-old moved from Swedish top-flight side Kalmar in the summer, and was given the number 10 shirt by Monk at the expense of Mowatt.

He made a solid start to his Leeds career, netting in his second game in the League Cup win over Fleetwood, but has struggled to nail down a regular berth in the Championship, having netted just once in 13 appearances.

His League Cup record has thus far been good though, with two goals in three games, and he could provide Monk with another option at Anfield on Tuesday, be it from the bench or from the start.
