Morgan Schneiderlin was one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League during his last season at Southampton, and he carried that form into the early stages of his United career.

He made 43 appearances in all competitions last season, but has so far suffered at the hands of United’s investment in the midfield area, and as such has made just one Premier League appearance so far this season.

The French international started the Feyenoord match two weeks ago, and is likely to get another opportunity to showcase his ability on Thursday as part of a make-shift United midfield.
