Man United manager, Jose Mourinho is reportedly still interested in a move for Barcelona and Brazil superstar, Neymar, according to reports from the Daily Record.
The report claims that the Red Devils have been asked to remain informed of the winger’s plans as he supposedly considers his future at the Nou Camp.
There were reports earlier this year that Mourinho was looking to engineer a move for the Brazil international, who was the leading light in their Rio 2016 winning side, however they faded away when he penned a new deal with the Spanish champions.
However, according to the Record, sources close to the Catalan giants have claimed that his new deal is mearly a ‘sticking plaster’ over a fractured relationship with the club.
Should Mourinho want to land a deal for the Barca man, it would mean once again smashing through the world transfer record, as he did to bring Paul Pogba back this summer, with the Brazilian demanding a £180m fee to release him from his contract.
