Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho looks set on landing his top targets once again this summer, just as he did in his first transfer window at Old Trafford.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss, who signed his four key targets in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba last summer, looks to slowly be working through the list handed to Old Trafford chiefs this time around.

The club are closing in on finalising terms with Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, and have supposedly agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

In terms of the Spanish forward, according to reports from Marca, Mourinho has told Morata that he will play a big role at the club should he make the move this summer.

The 24-year-old, who worked with Mourinho in the Spanish capital during their time there together – making 18 appearances under the Portuguese, has grown frustrated with his playtime under the guise of Zinedine Zidane and is looking for a club where he will be a key figure.

With that in mind, Marca claim that his former manager told him, “Come to me, you will be important.”
